Sensors

  • 1. General Return Policy:

    • Timeframe: You can return stock magnets for a refund within a specified period (e.g., 30 days) from the date of purchase or receipt.
    • Condition: Magnets must be in new and resalable condition, with all original packaging and components. Damaged or used magnets may not be eligible for return.
    • Authorization: You need to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any products. 

    2. Exclusions:

    • Custom Orders: Custom-made or marked magnets are generally not eligible for return unless they fail to meet the original specifications.
    • Damaged due to mishandling: Returns may not be accepted for magnets that have been damaged due to improper handling. 

    3. Refunds:

    • Method: Refunds are typically issued to the original payment method.
    • Deductions: Shipping and handling charges are generally non-refundable.
    • Restocking Fees: A restocking fee may apply, especially for items that are not in pristine condition or require reconditioning. 

    4. Faulty or Damaged Products:

    • Defective upon arrival: If you receive a faulty or damaged product due to a manufacturing defect, the supplier may offer a replacement or refund after inspection. 

    5. Process:

    • Contact Customer Service: Contact the supplier to request a return and obtain an RMA number.
    • Securely Package: Package the magnets carefully to prevent damage during return shipping, preferably in the original packaging.
    • Clearly Mark: Ensure the RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the package.

    • Shipping Methods: Various shipping options are available, including both domestic and international shipping. FedEx, UPS, and USPS are primarily used.
      • Domestic: Standard ground shipping (e.g., FedEx Ground) and expedited options like 2-Day or Next-Day delivery may be available.
      • International: Shipping for international customers is available using air freight for smaller items and ocean shipping for larger quantities.
    • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are determined by shipment weight, destination, and shipping method. Costs will be displayed during checkout.
    • Shipping Magnets Safely: Special considerations are taken when shipping magnets to ensure their safe and secure transportation. This may include:
      • Packaging: Magnets are packaged carefully, often with alternating polarities to reduce the magnetic field.
      • Shielding: For powerful magnets, special shielding (like steel-lined boxes) may be used to minimize the magnetic field outside the package, especially for air shipments.
      • Air Shipment Restrictions: Magnets shipped by air must adhere to specific regulations (e.g., FAA and IATA) regarding magnetic field strength at certain distances.
      • Labeling: Packages containing magnets may require special labeling, such as "Magnetized Material," especially for air shipments or if the magnetic field strength exceeds certain limits.
    • International Shipping:
      • Regulations: International shipments, particularly by air, are subject to regulations set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
      • Documentation: Proper documentation, including a shipper's declaration for dangerous goods, may be required for air shipments.
      • Prohibited Items: Certain magnets or magnetic materials may be prohibited from air transportation if their magnetic field strength is too high.
    • Delivery Estimates: Estimated delivery times vary depending on the shipping method and destination.
